Aspen Forest Design is the trading name of Aspen Forest Design Limited, a New Zealand company (company number 9303821, NZBN 9429052548956) based in Auckland. Our games
Our games do not collect any personal information. They have no accounts, no advertising and no analytics, and nothing you do in them is sent to us or to anyone else. Progress, settings and high scores are saved on your device only; uninstalling the game deletes them.
If you email us
If you email us, we receive your email address and what you write. We use it only to reply to you and sort out whatever you raised, and nobody outside the studio sees it. We keep the conversation until the matter is closed, then delete it. Ask and we will delete it sooner.
Our website
Our website has no analytics, no forms and no cookies of our own. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes the technical details your browser sends (such as your IP address) in order to deliver the pages and protect the site, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Security
Our games send us nothing, so there is nothing about you for us to lose. Email we receive stays in the studio’s mailbox, and our website is served over HTTPS. Any provider we ever share data with must protect it at least as well as this policy says.
Your rights, wherever you are
We handle personal information under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, wherever you live. You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, and to correct or delete it, by emailing support@aspenforestdesign.com. There is no charge. If you are in the EEA or the UK, our legal basis for the little processing we do (replying to your email and serving the website) is our legitimate interest in running the studio, and you may complain to your local data protection authority.
If a future game adds ads or analytics
None of our games currently has advertising or analytics. A future game may. If it does, that game’s store listing will say so before release, the game itself will tell you before anything starts, and we will ask first wherever the law or the store requires it. Ads or analytics would involve your device’s advertising identifier, your IP address (which gives a rough location) and basic device information, sent to that game’s advertising or analytics providers. You can limit or reset your advertising identifier, and withdraw any permission you gave, in your device’s privacy settings. Each game’s store listing states what that game actually collects.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top tells you which version you are reading.
